Ireland Needs To Press Pause Before Prescribing Antidepressants
Expert speakers and service users will address topics such as funding for mental health services, reform and training at a two day mental health conference at UCC
Between 2009 and 2017, prescriptions for eight antidepressants available from the HSE increased by 64%.
Concern has been raised that some patients have been started on antidepressants without being told about all the positives and negatives of the medication.
