Irish Cancer Society Issues Stark Warning Over HPV Vaccine

At least 40 girls who didn't get the HPV vaccine last year will die, according to the Irish Cancer Society.

Only half of the 30 thousand eligible schoolgirls had the jab last year, a major drop on 2015 figures.

The HSE says it will step up its campaign to promote the vaccine, claiming anti vaccine groups with false information have affected the uptake.
