Irish Designer Defends His Comments About Curvy Women
An Irish designer has defended remarks he made about women with fuller figures. Paul Costelloe found himself in the eye of a storm when he described the move by Debenhams to bring it size 16 mannequins to Ireland as "trying to normalise everything into becoming acceptable" His comments have led to debate on whether or not the move by the department store is in an effort to make obesity more acceptable. Paul Costelloe admits that he's in the business of selling a product and claims that it wouldn't help his business by using size 16 models.
