Irish Ecomony Set To Slow Down In 2020

Despite continued growth this year, the Irish economy is set for a slow down in 2020.

The country is likely to see growth next year fall back to 3.2% compared to 3.8 in 2019.

Research from the Economic and Social Research Institute suggests those figures could drastically change due to the impact and uncertainly surrounding Brexit.

Research Professor with the ESRI, Kieran McQuinn, says the worst case scenario of a no-deal Brexit, would severely cut those predicted rates.
