Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy happy to be back on Irish soil
Her Aer Lingus flight from Boston touched down at Shannon Airport at 6.12am
Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy says she is happy to be back on Irish soil, following her deportation from the US, after charges of murdering a baby girl in her care were dropped this week.
Her deportation from the United States was fast-tracked after the murder charge was dropped on Monday, and she was discovered to be living illegally in America for the past 13 years.
Speaking for the first time her arrest nearly three years ago, Ms Brady McCarthy who landed off a flight from Boston at Shannon Airport this morning, said she was glad to be home.
