Irish People Determined To Holiday Abroad
A survey has found that most Irish people will sacrifice just about anything to be able to afford a break away. The study carried out by directholidays.ie found that 6 in 10 people rated an overseas holiday as more important than savings and investments, schooling, or buying a new home. In order to afford a holiday, over half said they would be prepared to give up or cut down on dining out, 50 per cent said they would stop buying new clothes while over 20 per cent would give up cigarettes and alcohol.
