Irish Self Catering Federation To Discuss Challenges Facing Cork Tourism Industry

The challenges facing the tourism industry in Cork will be discussed in Bantry this evening.
The event is being organised by the Irish Self Catering Federation who say that new regulations on short term lets will have a detrimental impact on the sector.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy announced the new legislation to combat the housing crisis in October, however the ISCF say that many councils are unprepared for the introduction of the new rules on the first of June.
Speaking to RedFM News, Jacinta Doolan from the Irish Self Catering Federation says the government should focus on bringing vacant properties back into use:
The event will take place at the Westlodge Hotel Bantry this evening from 7-9pm
