ISPCA say animal cruelty cases Leeside are on the rise

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Cork says the number of animal cruelty cases Leeside has soared over the last 12 months.
20 rescue dogs are currently being held in private boarding facilities in Cork as the ISPCA's headquarters in Longford has reached capacity.
The dogs were seized in recent weeks but the charity says their HQ is full due to the lack of people willing to take in a rescue dogs along with the
numbers being rescued.
Over the last few weeks, the cost of housing the animals in this type of accommodation has cost the charity over €4,000
Speaking to RedFM News, ISPCA Inspector for the Cork Region Lisa O'Donovan says there are a number of reasons why this is the case:
