ISPCC call for government intervention in the homelessness crisis

The charity released it's pre-budget submission in recent days.
Child homelessness outside Dublin is increasing at almost three times the rate of the capital.
The figures come from the Department of the Environment amid a spate of calls for the government to intervene in the homelessness crisis in Ireland in recent weeks.
The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children says tackling the homelessness crisis, with particular focus on children, is the central point in their pre budget submission which they released yesterday.
Leeside, Good Shepherd Services show a 26% increase on 2014 figures in the number of women and children who could not be catered for due to the demand on their services.
Speaking to RedFM News, CEO of the ISPCC Grainia Long outlines the two major issues they see with child homelessness in Ireland.
