ISPCC in Cork answered 40,000 calls last year

The Cork Branch of the ISPCC answered over 40,000 calls from children via childline last year.
It comes as the charity voiced its concerns about the level of cyber bullying in Cork.
They say an increase in cyber bullying often means that the child being bullied feels they have no safe space to hide.
A report from the ISPCC has shown that children who spend more time online without the supervision of parents and who make personal information available on social media are at greater risk.
