Attention now turns to West Cork for the final results
Former Labour Councillor turned Independent candidate Martin Coughlan from Macroom was elected in the 10th round, while Eileen Lynch and Ted Lucey from Fine Gael took the final two seats in the 11th, narrowing the gap to Fianna Fáil.
With the candidates for Carrigaline, Cobh, Macroom and Midleton selected, attention now turns to West Cork for the final results in Skibbereen/West Cork, Bandon/Kinsale and Bantry West Cork.
