JD Wetherspoon moves to disassociate itself with 'Wetherspoons Cork' Facebook page
JD Wetherspoon has moved to disassociate the chain brand with a “Wetherspoons Cork” Facebook page which seemingly attacks the prices charged by a number of Cork pubs. Posts on the page make references to a number of well-known Cork bars and the prices they charge using the hashtag #CrazyPrices. A spokesman for the company says they would not comment on prices charged by other pubs but he believes the prices being offered at their Cork branch will be welcomed when they open.
