Jobs announcement hailed as an endorsement for Cork

There has been a number of new jobs announcements in the last week.
The location of over 50 technology companies Leeside has been credited for a spate of recent jobs announcements in Cork.
Californian based software company Hortonworks today announced the creation of 50 new jobs at it's Lapps Quay base.
Ten positions were also created at technology company Fortuity.
The announcements are being hailed as a glowing endorsement of Cork as a place to do business and as an ever growing technology hub.
Speaking to Cork's RedFM Ray O'Connor of the IDA says companies are very impressed by the other high profile companies that are located here.
