Johnny Depp will find out next week if he can appeal his failed libel case against The Sun newspaper
The British High Court found last summer that an article in the paper calling the actor a "wife beater" was "substantially true"
Lawyers for the star say he did not receive a fair trial over allegations he assaulted his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Sky News correspondent, Enda Brady, says his representatives claim they've new evidence Ms Heard didn't donate her 7 million dollar divorce settlement to charity:
"Depp's lawyers in this case at the Court of Appeal are now claiming that she gave just $100,000 to the hospital and $450,000 to the ACLU the other charity, and in a written submission his legal team is saying that this was a very calculated a manipulative lie designed to achieve a potent favourable impression from the outset"
