Just 58 drivers have tested positive for drugs
That's in the first 8 months of new roadside tests being introduced.
From April to November last year, only 1,856 Gardai had received training to carry out the tests - out of over 13,000.
Gardai had estimated that they'd carry out 50 thousand roadside drug tests a year.
