Justice Minister reacts to homelessness crisis

The Justice Minister says she's confident emergency beds will be provided for homeless people in the days and weeks ahead. Frances Fitzgerald's comments come ahead of the Environment Minister holding of a forum in Dublin tomorrow to deal with the crisis. Here in Cork, the Simon Community says the number of people sleeping rough on city streets has jumped over 500% in three years. 38 people were recorded in 2011, but so far the organisation has met 230 people sleeping on the street in 2014.
