The Acting County Engineer says Kinsale, Cobh, Youghal and Charleville have all been placed on a priority list for the restoration of power and water.
67 water schemes across Cork county have been impacted with the power outages but in some cases there is enough storage in resevoirs thowever the four towns placed on the priority list have been without power since yesterday and all are without water since this morning.
The County Council is working with Irish Water to provide solutions to all sites either through the provision of generators or through the ESB to get these towns placed on a power restoration list.
Acting County Engineer and Director of Water Services Kevin Morey told RedFM News that he's hopeful that power and water supply will be restored to the four towns on the priority list by this evening.
Anyone with any water outages is asked to report the fault to Irish Water's emergency line on 1850 278 278
