Kinsale traders say summer tourism season looking promising despite Brexit uncertainty

Brexit uncertainty hasn't had a negative impact on tourism in Cork so far.
That's according to traders in Kinsale who say that tourism levels are on par with 2018 figures with many UK tourists stopping by the town as they make their way along the Wild Atlantic Way route.
The UK is set to leave the EU on October 31st however a deal is yet to be put in place for its departure.
It was feared this uncertainty would impact traders in many Cork towns who rely on the summer season to carry them through the quieter months.
However speaking to RedFM News owner of Kinari Boutique and chairperson of Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business, Guny Patel says the signs for the rest of the tourism season are looking positive:
