Lack Of Clarity Over Re-Opening Of Cinemas "Very Frustrating"

On Thursday evening, June 7th had been listed as when they could return
But the date was soon removed from the government website - with cinemas listed for "next steps" some time in June instead.
Charlene Lydon, film programmer from the Lighthouse in Dublin and Palas in Galway, says they want a firm answer:
"While it does look like we still might be able to open in June, all going well, we now don't have a date. Which is really difficult because if you're trying to run a business, you want to get in touch with staff and let them know when they come back to work, and start ordering your popcorn, and all those things so very frustrating. It was terrible. We have a bit of a roller coaster on Thursday."
