Landlords Who Put The Lives And Health Of Tenants In Jeopardy Should Face Strong Penalties
That's the view of Cork housing charity Threshold who are calling for the government to update current housing legislation to include a definition of overcrowding.
The call comes as an advert on Daft.ie this week offered a bunk bed in a city centre apartment for €320 per month.
The advert, which has since been deleted, listed the two bed apartment on Carroll's Quay as being occupied by 6 people.
Speaking to RedFM News, Edel Conlon from Threshold says legislation is crucial to improving overcrowding
