Liver disease set to quadruple in Ireland due to harmful drinking

88 people die in Ireland ever month due to the harmful use of alcohol. That's according to Alcohol Action Ireland which is calling on the Government to send out a clear message that Ireland's high levels of alcohol harm can no longer be tolerated.. The group says it's time the Government tackled the problem head on by urgently implementing the Public Health Alcohol Bill which would help to save lives and improve health and well being in Ireland...
