Locals Say They Will Escalate Their Protest Over A Right Of Way At The Deepwater Quays In Cobh
Residents are unhappy that Port of Cork will not recognise a public right of way on the quay
They have vowed to continue to prevent security staff from putting up barriers when cruise liners are docking.
It comes as Port of Cork are set to welcome almost 9,000 cruise liner passengers to Cobh between tomorrow and Friday.
Speaking to RedFM News, spokeperson for the group Cllr Diarmaid Ó Cadhla says residents are making it very clear that they don't a problem with the cruise liners
