The National Lottery have announced that the winning ticket from the weekend was purchased in a "seaside town" in Cork.
The player became the fourth Lotto jackpot winner of the year after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw
The National Lottery has confirmed that it is still waiting to hear from Cork's newest millionaire and is continuing to urge players to check their tickets carefully as one lucky player has a ticket worth €2.4 million.
The exact store where the jackpot winning ticket was sold will be announced on Tuesday morning and the National Lottery are telling people to "check their tickets carefully"
