Man Arrested After €7,500 Of Suspected Drugs Was Seized In Mayfield

The arrest was made as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Cork city.
A file is being prepared for the DPP after Gardaí arrested a man and seized €7,500 of suspected drugs in Mayfield yesterday .

Detectives from Mayfield executed a search warrant at a house in Murmont Crescent at around 1.30pm and during the course of the search seized €7,500 of suspected MDMA. The suspected drugs will now be sent for analysis.
A man, in his 20s, was arrested at the scene and was taken to Mayfield Garda Station - he has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP
