Man arrested after Mallow stand off
A man in his twenties has been arrested in North Cork following an assault and a stand off which lasted four hours in Mallow. The incident began at around 2 o'clock this morning when a woman in her twenties contacted Gardai after she escaped from a house in Sandfield Terrace in the town. She was taken to Cork University Hospital and treated for serious but non life threatening injuries. Andrea Gilligan has this report for RedFM News
