Man arrested following suspected cocaine seizure in Cork city
A man has been arrested after €5,000 worth of suspected cocaine was seized in the City.
Gardaí from Anglesea Street were on patrol on Evergreen Street when they spotted a man picking up a package from the ground and placing it inside a car..
Gardaí searched the car and found the drugs in the drivers door.
The man in his early 20s was arrested and taken to Togher Garda Station.
He has since been released and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
