Man arrested in relation to city centre burglary

A man in his 20s has been arrested and charged in relation to a burglary at a clothing shop in the City Centre.
Gardai at Anglesea Street were alerted to a possible break-in at a store on Opera Lane after 2am this morning and attended the scene with the assistance of the Armed Support Unit.
The man was found inside the shop trying to open a cash register.
He was arrested, taken to the Togher Garda station and is due to appear before Cork City District Court this morning.
