Man Convicted Of Manslaughter In Kanturk Given Fully Suspended Sentence
65 year old Finbarr Lehane from Banteer died at Cork University Hospital two weeks after after he was punched outside the Stand Bar in Kanturk
He was punched by 29 year Jonathan O'Sullivan who is from Kanturk but living at Birchfield Park, Goatstown, Dublin.
Medical evidence showed Finbarr Lehane's injuries were a direct result of him falling and hitting his head off the ground immediately after he was punched in October 2016.
O'Sullivan had pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter but was found guilty earlier this month.
Judge Sean O Donnabhain sentenced O'Sullivan to three years in jail and suspended the entire term.
