Man dies in Cork hit-and-run
A 25-year old man has been killed in a hit-and-run in Cork city. The male pedestrian was struck by a white van on George's Quay at around 9.30pm last night. Gardai are investigating and are seeking the public's help in finding a white Ford Transit van with a box body and green writing on the side. The vehicle continued down Georges Quay onto Sullivan's Quay. The Injured man was brought to CUH where he died shortly before midnight.
