A man entered the Londis shop in the town at around 7:30 Sunday evening with what is believed to be a knife
The man threatened staff before leaving with some items of stock.
No one was injured during the incident.
Gardaí from Clonakilty carried out a search of a house in West Cork yesterday and arrested a man in his 30s.
