Man goes on trial for murder of mother of three in Popham's Rd

A jury will hear that a young mother of three died from blunt force trauma to the head resulting in brain swelling and traumatic bleeding into the brain, a murder trial in Cork has been told.

Opening the prosecution case this afternoon, senior counsel, Tom Creed told the jury that they would hear evidence of how exactly Nicola Collins died on March 27th 2017.
