Man in critical condition after city centre assault
Gardaí have launched an investigation after a serious assault in the city centre last evening.
A man in his 50s was taken to Cork University hospital where his condition is described as critical.
The incident happened at 7pm last evening on Lapp's quay when a man in his early 50s was assaulted.
RedFM News has learned that the man was taken to Cork University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
It's understood that no arrests have yet been made.
