Man in early 40s killed in car crash in Limerick

A man in his early 40s has been killed in a car crash in Co Limerick this afternoon.
The collision involving a car and truck happened at around 12:30pm on the N20 near Lackanagrour.
The driver of the truck has been taken to University Hospital Limerick as a precaution.
Forensic investigators are currently en route to the scene, and traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
