Emergency services responded to the scene on Glenryan Road at around 11pm.
This is the third stabbing incident in the city this week - a man had to undergo surgery after he was stabbed on Ardmore Avenue in Knocknheeny on Sunday night while a man in his late teen's sustained a number of stab wounds to his arm and groin in an incident on the Curraheen road in Bishopstown on Wednesday night
It's not thought any of the incidents are linked
