Man remains in Garda custody this morning following stabbing in the City yesterday
The incident happened on Magazine Road yesterday at around 4pm.
Gardaí say a man in his 20's was stabbed during this incident which happened on Magazine Road at around 4:15pm yesterday afternoon.
The victim was taken to Cork University Hospital where his condition is described as "serious but stable".
After the attack, officers raided a house on the Glasheen Road where they arrested a man in his 30s and recovered a knife.
The suspect was taken to the city's Bridewell Garda Station where he is being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
