Man Retrieved From River Lee Overnight
A man was retrieved from the River Lee in the city in the early hours of this morning.
Three Anglesea Street fire units responded to the call at around quarter past 2, along with gardai and an ambulance crew.
The man who was spotted near the footbridge on grand parade was plucked from the water by fire crews and was brought to Cork University Hospital to undergo medical treatment.
