Man to appear in court in connection with Cork student's death

A man is to appear in court in Scotland later in connection with the death of North Cork woman Karen Buckley. The 21 year-old is due at Glasgow Sheriff's court this afternoon. It comes after police forensic investigators examine a knife recovered from a canal near where the 24-year-old's body was recovered. Police divers recovered the kitchen knife from the Forth and Clyde Canal during a search yesterday and it has since been sent to Glasgow’s crime laboratory where scientists are trying to establish if it's linked to Karen's death.
