Managing Director of Cork Airport calls for support of the airport

The comments come following a breakfast briefing in the city.

Cork airport needs to be supported, not saved.

That's according to the Managing Director of Cork airport who says the mentality that the airport needs to be 'saved' is damaging its reputation.

The comments were made at a breakfast briefing in the city this morning on the future development of the airport which featured the Chief Executive of the DAA.

Speaking to RedFM News Managing Director of Cork Airport Niall McCarthy says people need to support the airport to ensure expansion and growth.
