Man's body removed to Cork University Hospital following workplace accident

Two separate enquiries are to be conducted following a fatal work place accident in East Cork earlier today.
A man died at a building site on a school in Midleton at around 12.30 this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident and two men were taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries, a third man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Exact details of the accident are not known but its understood that the men were working near machinery at the time.
The Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the incident.
