Many areas in West Cork hit by another night of flooding
The N71 at Rosscarbery has experienced more overnight flooding with the Rosscarbery/Glandore Rd (R597) closed until further notice.
The N71 at Connonagh Morris Arms is now closed due to flooding. Motorists are advised to travel via Dunmanway between Clonakilty and Skibbereen.
The main road is also flooded near Church in Dunmanway this morning.
Meanwhile a number of power outages have also been reported across Cork with 205 off the grid in Bantry, 98 in the Macroom area, and 59 in Dunmanway.
Home and business owners in West Cork who have been hit by flash flooding this week are being urged to apply for emergency funding to assist them
Calls are now being made to ensure drains are regularly cleared to prevent a repeat of the damage caused in the area
Speaking to RedFM News local Fianna Fail TD Christopher O'Sullivan is advising people to apply for financial assistance
