Meeting By Residents From The Lough Opposed To Apartment Development

Residents from The Lough are holding a meeting this evening to voice their continued opposition to a proposed 350 bed development in the area
The Save The Lough From High Rise group say they have examined the revised plans issued by Lyonshall Developments but say they do little to allay residents fears on the social impact of the development on the area.
Locals say nothing has been done to address their concerns about increased risk of anti social behaviour, traffic and the impact on infrastructure
The group is holding a meeting in the Scouts Hall at the Lough Church at 8pm tonight to update locals on the development
Billy O'Connor from the group told RedFM News that they have until next week to submit any objections to the latest proposal
