Members Of The Student Union At University College Cork Will Not Be Striking Today
Student representatives at the college had planned a day of strike action
It was in reaction to the planned 3% rent increase at UCC owned student accommodation.
However, Welfare Officer for the UCC Student Union Naoise Crowley has confirmed to RedFM News the strike will not go ahead today.
The increases were announced last week alongside a number of similar rent hikes across the country.
