Mercy University Hospital secures injunction following hack

Mercy University Hospital has secured an interim injunction from the High Court restraining any sharing, processing, selling or publishing of private MUH data stolen from its IT systems.
The hospital continues to maintain essential patient services today and in a statement to RedFM news say they are working with the HSE on restoring its IT systems.
The hospital is also claiming for damages.
Investigations are ongoing into the extent of the damage caused to the Hospitals IT systems.
Service upates for the hospital can be found on muh.ie as the the HSE's warning patients to expect 'widespread cancellations' of hospital
appointments again next week.
