Minister says no health risk associated with living beside pylons
The Minister for Energy and Communications has moved to reassure people that there are no health risks associated with living beside pylons. Today marks the deadline for public submissions on Eirgrid's proposals to erect hundreds of the electricity structures across the country. There's huge opposition here in Cork to the Eirgrid plans which will see high voltage overhead power lines running from Knockraha to Dunstown in Co Kildare..
