More Than 8 out of 10 European Citizens Want To Abolish Day Light Savings

A proposal is set to be put forward to change the current clock arrangements

A public consultation across Europe shows most people want to stop the clocks changing twice a year, in the Autumn and the Spring.  

The European Commission says it will now make a proposal to the Parliament and the Council with a view to changing the current arrangements.
