More Women Lying On Social Networks
Researchers have found that more than a quarter of adult females exaggerate or lie completely about what they are doing, on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Common fibs include pretending to be out on the town when they are actually at home alone, making their jobs sound better than they really are, or falsly describing holidays that they've been on - to make them more exotic. Meanwhile, as many as one in five women lie about their relationship status, while a quarter overstate their alcohol consumption on a night out.
