Mother and daughter charged in relation to an incident in Mahon yesterday evening
Julia and Julianne McDonagh of Inchera Close in Mahon were each charged with possession of a knife at Jacob's Island in the city.
The pair were among nine people who were arrested after a shot was fired yesterday evening during an incident that is believed to be part of an ongoing feud.
Cork District Court heard that Gardaí had no objection to bail once the women reside at their home, abide by a daily curfew and sign in three times a week at Anglesea Street Garda Station.
The mother and daughter must not cross northwards of the River Lee unless they have a medical or legal appointment and both must abstain from all intoxicants.
Julia and her daughter Julianne were also granted free legal aid.
Judge Olann Kelleher remanded the pair on bail until their next court appearance on June 14th, when the DPP's directions are expected to be furnished on that day.
