A man has been killed in a road crash in North Cork in the early hours of this morning
The single vehicle collision happened on a local road off the Charleville/Kilmallock Road in the townland of Garry-n-derk at around 1.30am this morning
The driver of the car, a man in his 50's was fatally injured when his car collided with a ditch. His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
