Muggings, Littering And People Using Beaches As Toilets Marring Seasides Across Cork

Crosshaven based County Councillor Audrey Buckley says human faeces, beer cans and large piles of litter are being left behind on beaches across the county
A gang of youths, believed to be from the city, have robbed a number of beach-goers in the Myrtleville, Fountainstown and Crosshaven areas in recent days and just last week a stolen car was set on fire outside Audrey Buckley's Crosshaven home.
Gardai have confirmed that they are investigating a number of reports of anti-social behaviour and theft around the beaches and they have made a number of arrests.
Speaking to RedFM News Cllr Buckley says more Garda resources are needed to combat the anti social behaviour:
