Music revellers heading to Live at the Marquee are being urged to allow extra time due to increased security at the event
The Summer series of gigs kicks off tonight as Picture This take to the stage for the first of their two nights at the Marquee
Security has been stepped up at all gigs and sporting events in light of the recent terror attacks in the UK and music fans are being urged not to bring backpacks or large bags to the Marquee.
This is the 12th year of the event which continues to attract big name artists such as Elbow, Elton John and the Coronas.
Speaking to RedFM News Promoter Peter Aiken says the three shows over the weekend are all sold out and artists love the appeal of the Marquee.
